Hallo,

wir sitzen etwas ratlos an einem 300 Seiten Buch mit ziemlich vielen Fußnoten, welche, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist, leicht eingerückt werden sollen -> Bis an die blaue Linie.

Dies haben wir nun manuell hingeschoben und für 2 Fußnoten fast 30 minuten gebraucht. Gibt es da eine Lösung, um es evtl. per Tabstopps zu erledigen, um die 300 Fußnoten nicht alle so mühsam hinzurücken?

wie [Jongware] bereits gesagt hat: ein Screenshot mit eingeblendeten verborgenen Zeichen wäre wesentlich aussagekräftiger gewesen. Und wirklich – 30 Minuten für zwei Fußnotentexte scheint etwas übertrieben. Das bekommt man selbst mit einem „Einzug bis hierhin“ in kürzerer Zeit hin (Aber auch diesen sollte man hier besser nicht verwenden.)

Achte darauf, dass im Dokument nichts markiert ist. Erstelle ein Absatzformat mit dem gewünschten Aussehen für deinen Fußnotentext. Nur erstellen – nicht zuweisen!
Stelle jetzt im Dialogfeld unter Menü --> Schrift --> Optionen für Dokumentenfußnoten: Registerkarte ‑ [Nummerierung und Formatierung] in der unteren Sektion: [Fußnotenformatierung] dein neu erstelltes Absatzformat ein.
Die Punkte Einzug links und Einzug erste Zeile bestimmen den Abstand deines Fußnotentextes. Du benötigst keinerlei sonstige Zeichen im Fußnotentext (der notwendige Tabulator wurde vorher bereits in den Fußnotenoptionen gesetzt). Änderungen des linken Abstandes werden wie gewohnt im Absatzformat über die beiden vorgenannten Punkte „unter Sicht“ eingestellt.

Schubser, I mentioned "Right Indent" because I noticed the text doesn't run to the right margin. Perhaps Heinz needs both a left and right indent. (Or--- perhaps all he needs is to adjust his margins ...)

I know. But this is equal, if the TO use paragraph styles consequent. The rest are "1-click-solutions".

Are you using styles? Look for "Right Indent" in its definition -- set this to the required value, and you are done.

Even if you're not using styles, it is quicker to start using them now and set the indent that way.

I am wondering, how can setting a simple tab cost you half an hour for two footnotes? The image does not show the invisble characters, so maybe -- hopefully! -- I am wrong, but surely you are not breaking each single line manually?

Could not really make out what you wanted to ask due to bad translation. I would suggest you explore the Document Footnote options present in the Type menu and set a appropriate separator for all document footnotes at once...
