Hi,
I activated Playfair display font in InDesign, but when exporting the file into pdf it lacks of all the "i"s. This happens both using Mac and PCs.
The attached screenshot was sent to me from a client.
Please, help me.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the InDesign forum so that proper help can be offered.

More information please:
Where did you activate the font? at Adobe Fonts through your CC subscription? or Google? elsewhere?
Are you sure you only have it loaded from one place? (i.e. no conflicting copies)
Do you see the same issue in the pdf on your own computer? What does our PDF show for document Font Properties?
Did your client try to edit your pdf in any way?
etc etc

Hi Serena,
known issue. Not with that font itself, but perhaps with a bug regarding InDesign 17.0,0 and 17.0.1.
What you can try:
[1] Uninstall the font from your system.
Reinstall it.
[2] Uninstall the font from your system.
Put the font files in the Fonts folder of the InDesign Application folder.
[3] Uninstall the font from your system.
Use a Document fonts folder with the font files to make them available with a particular InDesign document.
See here a list of links to discussions that reflect the same issue with a variety of fonts ( the list is growing every week )

Hi @Matt_____ ,
what's your exact version of Adobe Illustrator?
What's your operating system?
Do you see the same issues with InDesign as well?
Also with the latest version 18.1 ?

@Matt_____ Is your issue with Playfair as well, or are you seeing it with a different font?
Here's something to check. Open your PDF in Acrobat and head to > Print Production > Preflight > Options > create Inventory. Select just Fonts and click OK. The resulting file should have a page for each font subset in the document, showing which glyphs have been used. Does the flaw show on the problem character there?

Hi @Matt_____ ,
are you using the Adobe World-Ready Composer with your text?
