I am actually designing a cd and I want put the text into the form of a triangle. This really is not a problem. The problem is I want the triangle to turn by 180 degrees. And even this is not a problem. The problem the inserted text turns with the triangle. Any help would be very appreciated for this desperate man.

Best Regards

Frank

Select the direct selection tool (white arrow).

Hold down option and click on the frame of the triangle.

    Click E

Hold down shift and rotate it 180° or rotate it via the button in the control panel on the top.

Thank you very very much for your answer. I do not know exactly what the difference is to what I  was doing all the time but hopefully I will understand it later. Now I can go on working. Is the difference the white arrow or shift?

The shift constrains the turn by 90°–180°–270°.

The white arrow would select a part of the frame or an anchor only.

White Arrow+Option selects the whole frame without content if clicked on the frame’s border.

Black Arrow selects frame and content together.

Thank you again! This explains everything to me perfectly.
