InDesign unresponsive in Windows 10 & Wacom tablet

Hi All,

I am running Windows 10, InDesign CC 2017.1 release, and am using a Wacom tablet & Pen.

When working in a document and try to select an image frame with my Wacom pen InDesign slows down to a stop. If I switch over to using my mouse, everything works OK.
I have checked and I am using the latest driver for my tablet. I have restarted my machine with no improvement also.
This behavior started a few weeks back, but I can't pinpoint anything that happened that would cause this?
Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Blumer,

Are you facing this issue with the latest InDesign only.. I mean, were you able to work fine with the previous version of InDesign and latest drivers of Wacom?

Can you please share the specification of your wacom tablet..

It would be great if you can report bug with all relevant details at Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Thanks in Advance.

Monica Singh

I had the same problem. I was using Indesign CS6, win10 and lastest wacom's driver (for bamboo).

I put aside and keep using mouse until I had to format my computer and I decide give another chance to wacom and it worked fine.
