Indesign- Updated version not being displayed

Hi,

Can anyone please help me identify the problem.

I have updated my Indesign but it still keeps displaying a rather basic version with hardly any tools on either side of the screen.

What could be the problem?

It could be that everything is just temporarily hidden. Try resetting the Workspace.

Window > Workspace > Reset Essentials

If that doesn't work try resetting your InDesign preferences.

I had a look around and it was set on Essentials and now i have it set on Essentials Classic that shows me all the tools.
