Indesign v19.0.1 crashes on startup - win11

My InDesign crashes on startup after a few seconds of loading screen. 

I have deinstalled and reinstalled the app - have deleted the preference files and reset them on startup with control-alt-shift... nothing works. 

 

Any suggestions?

 

I am on a very new Win11 machine - NVIDIA 4090, i9 processor, 128 GB RAM...

I could fix the problem only by completely deinstalling the creative cloud with all its apps and then run adobe's cleaner tool. After that a fresh re-install - now everything is working again.

Do you get any kind of error messages? Do you have any third-party plugins such as a font manager?

No error message, it crashes immediately during the loading screen. And no third-party-plugins installed.

A couple of rouble-shooting steps:

  • Run InDesign as an administrator.
  • Create a new user account on the computer and run InDesign from there.
