Indesign Vertical Alignment issue from Parent to Live

Indesign 17.3

MacOSX

 

When working with type in indesign, vertical alignment to top keeps breaking when parent / master elements are made editable in my main document.


They go from:

Driving me insane, any help would be much appreciated.

Can you confirm that the alignment is controlled by styles and the styles are not overridden when making the page editable?

Are you making the text frames editable globally through the Pages Panel option "Override All Master Page Items" or are you activating the frames individually by Shift-Command clicking on the frames? Whichever way you're doing it try the other way to see if the same thing happens.
