One month ago I move from Win 10 to Mac Studio M2 Max 32Gb and, from time to time, have this kind of problems with video. Scrolling the page, or any other action let this artifacts disappear

Is it a Mac problem? or a bug of Indesign (18.4)?

Thanks to all.

Disable GPU Performance in your InDesign preferences. And yes, it's Mac-specific. This feature doesn't exist on Windows.

Thanks. I've tried and now it works with no artifacts but much slower... perhaps better fast but with some occasional little trouble. All the best

This problem exists for years now more or less depending on the InDesign version. I guess you have to deal with it.

I agree with Bob. I see it occasionally on my Macs, I usually leave GPU Performance on but changing your magnification usually makes it go away.
