InDesign Window Resizes After Exiting Presentation Mode—How to Maintain Fullscreen on macOS?

Hello,
The size of my InDesign window doesn't suit me. So I enlarge it, then work normally.
But every time I switch to presentation mode and leave it (which is very often), the window resizes, so I have to resize it.
Similarly, if I press the “+” at the top left, Indesign goes to fullscreen, but as soon as I switch to presentation mode, it resizes.

How can I get Indesign to remember my window size changes (i.e. fullscreen)?

I'm on macOs.

Thanks

If you're "floating" your InDesign window on your screen, it's unlikely InDesign will be able to remember the size the of the window after you go into Presentation mode.

Instead, create a "fixed" InDesign window by turning on Window > Application Frame. In that mode, InDesign controls the window size, and it will return to the same view after uisng Presentation mode:
