I just paid for one year of iNDesign. Now it looks like Adobe wants me to buy Creative Cloud also. Is this correct?

I don't need another dam program I just want InDesign

InDesign is part of Creative Cloud. Managing assets is done through the Creative Cloud desktop app which does not carry any additional cost.

Which version did you buy and from where? I'm sick of CC 2019 as well, so buggy! >:( Fed up Font Incompatibility: InDesign 2019 (v14.0.2) NO SPACING between words Gujarati Sangam MN font, InDesign 2014 works fine  | Recorded today: Adobe InDesign 2019 v14.0.2 flashing external display upon most graphic object changes, font issues - YouTube

But on my old Yosemite Mac with Adobe InDesign 2014, ver10.0.0.70, I literally don't have any issues.

Just don't buy more programs and keep working just with InDesign. And be happy.

Adobe doesn't have any programs that will help you create a dam.

You can subscribe (monthly or yearly) to a group of applications called the Creative Cloud Suite and these include InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver and a number of other applications.

Alternatively you can subscribe (monthly or yearly) to just InDesign CC on its own.
