Weird issue started today: When I launch indesign I can see the "InDesign" to the right of the apple icon in the very top menu bar. When I go to the Window drop down menu and select my customized workspace my tool box appears but that is it. I create a new document, nothing. I open an existing file nothing. I change workspaces to "essentials" or any other workspace, nothing.
Essentially Indesign is offline and I have no idea where to start fixing this.
Any help is appreciated. Tried to contact Adobe, but apparently the user group is the only support available.
I would start by resetting preferences. See "Restore all preferences and default settings" in Set preferences in Adobe InDesign.
