Index missing page number separators (Was: index also seems like it cannot cooperate efficiently)

So, i am having an index,

but ,,,

when generating it, commas are eliminated as separator of entries
before

after generating without of course removing the separator from index panel

but then,,

commas are disappearing,,,

what can cause that?

Hi @dorothea.per:

In your first screenshot, we can see the comma and non-breaking spaces between the page numbers. Was that first screen shot generated earlier by InDesign, but now the separators are being removed? If so, that points to either an issue with InDesign or an issue with the file. Your settings work exactly as expected for me.
