Seems like this should be simple, but I can't figure it out. I'm using paragraph styles.
I want to create space above and below a block of text, without the space added inside the block of text. I've tried the paragraph rules and the space above and below settings, but they seem to apply to all the text in that block. So in the screenshot, you can see that there is no extra space above and below the text block to set it apart from the main text. But when i add that space in settings, it also applies to the text within the block, and i don't always want that.
Is there a way, then, to get the space before and after, but not within?
The paragraph style for the conversation could have Space Bafore and Space After and "Space Between" set to zero.

I don't seem to have a 'space Between' setting. Where is it? Is it 'space between paragraphs using the same style'
