Hyperlinks from interactive Pdfs to text anchors in other Pdfs no longer works when exporting from Indesign 19.4 and 19.5

This is a feature we use extensivly and although it still works in 19.3 I'm getting worried that it will fall by the wayside in futures versions. I downloaded the latest Beta and it doesn't work in that either.

If you want to recreate the problem I've drawn up a simplified graphic on how I set up these. once you export the iPdfs they should be named the same as the .Indd files and saved in the same folder.

How do we go about fixing this? please let me know.

Are you implementing these as cross-references, or actual hyperlinks? Cross references should definitely be working.

Hi Alan,

As far as I know cross-references are for documents set up with text, however hyperlinks can be added to graphics, and then set up to link to a text anchor, either within the same document or in another document, which is how they are used in this instance. 

This feature should be working in the latest version of Indesign, however it is not.
