Interactive PDF navigation question

Hi all, I am creating a multi page interactive PDF with a couple of pages of menus that have buttons assigned to 'jump' to the relevant pages, I have achieved this by bookmarking the pages and setting the buttons to 'go to destination' as I believe this is the only way to make this work when saving as an interactive PDF.

My question is - how do I set a button that will then 'jump' the user back to the original menu? A 'previous page' button will not as it literally sends the user to the previous page and not the menu. I know there must be a way for this to work as my client has sent me an example PDF that has this functionality. I am really struggling with this so any help would be really appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve

Yes, try "Go to Previous View." Let us know if that works for your case.

answering my own question in the hope it might help someone else - for now I am using the bookmark method and creating a button over the 'back' graphic that then links back to the menu page, it seems to work fine.

You can use the button action of "Go to Previous View" to take an user back to original location.

Seems hyperlinks are just another way of jumping to a specified destination, my problem still remains - how do I then return to the menu from which I came and not just the previous page?

    Use simple hyperlinks.

Thanks for your reply Derek, any chance you could embellish on your answer a little? I am new to this and not familiar with hyperlinks. thanks
