Interactive pdf textbox trouble

Hello, I am trying to export an interactive pdf and the text boxes I have created have colour and writing in them (for the end user to use or change). The trouble is when I export the interactive pdf, the text and colour that I've put in the text boxes has disappeared. How do I export the interactive pdf and keep the text and colour in my text boxes.
