Is it possible to export images and captions with <figure> and <figcaption> when exporting as PDF?

I cant find much about InDesign 20.0 supporting <figure> and <figcaption>. Is it possible to export images and captions with <figure> and <figcaption> when exporting as PDF? Or is that an EPUB-only feature?

No, not yet. It is being worked on in the background for compliance with the European Accessibility Act and should be in place by June 2025. That said, it's not possible in EPUB yet, either.
