Is it possible to hide pages?

using CC/WIn10

Sometimes I create variations of one page and at the end / in the further progress the not-favorited pages will be removed.

Is it possible to exclude these pages from the numbering, so that the page number references (after these pages) do not change?

Ahhhh... the hide spread feature does NOT work when using the Pubish Online option!

Just includes them and is either an error or massive oversight on what would seem to be an easy application of thr feature. Reporting it now as cannot find anyone else highlighting this problem.
