Is it still politically correct to use the terms 'orphan' and 'widow' in typography?

I think it would be a good idea to change the terms. They sound very outdated and can be offensive to some people. 

Why not 'isolated text' for widow?

Or 'unattached line' for orphan?

There are a number of typographic terms that originate from the invention of movable type—lead is a toxic metal but do we really need to replace the term Leading?
