Is There an Eraser Tool in InDesign?

Hi everyone,

Maybe a silly question but is there an eraser tool in InDesign? I couldve sworn before the latest update there was one!? 

I like to create outline on my text and then erase parts of the letters that surround other images etc. if that makes sesne? But since having no eraser tool I can't seem to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Eraser tool makes no sense in InDesign, therefore you will not find it in InDesign.

This tool is part of Photoshop andwith vector functionality in Illustrator.

In InDesign you have since the latest version a History Panel where you can step backward like in Photoshiop.

You could do this using Pathfinder panel.
