Is there any way to copy a certain Quote sup and then delete its footnotes?

When several footnote numbers share a single content.
It seems that it can only be adjusted manually.
But there is a place where it should be to automatic:
Copy out a quote superscript (quote sup) copy, and then delete its footnote (footnote).

Subsequent numbering may not be consecutive anymore, only manually?

You would have to edit this manually. One footnote citation in text yields only one footnote citation under the textframe. Only human intelligence can edit this to be more streamlined in the way you wish it to be.

This is kind of a flaw in InDeign.
It is yet to be improved and optimized.
