Issue CSS6 - disappearing Blocks

Hello,

I have an issue with the software Indesign CS6. I am currently working on the production of a promotional brochure but I am facing an issue in the conception phase.

On some pages that I have already created, blocks of text or pictures are disappearing. I can still see the block but there is nothing inside. However, the link is still correct.

Did you already face that kind of issue and do you know how to correct it ?

First thing to do is reset your InDesign preferences:

Close InDesign. Then hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and relaunch InDesign. Respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences.

Thanks a lot for your help. We have done the first step but nothing has changed.

Here under, you can see an example of a page where we are facing the issue. On the bottom right of the page you can see that the pictures are not visible. The link is still here.

Some of these images seem to be low res (such as the Oxford logo), check you have View > Display Performance > High Quality Display to see if they're OK.

Not that this will deal with the disappeared images, try Placing one again to see what happens.

It is not an issue of quality. We will try to begin a new file and replace all the disappearing pictures.
