JS to flip one of the character in the TextFrame

hi there,

Anyone knows how to flip one/few characters in the textframe using Javascript?

I know that textframe can be flip using flipItem function. What about character?

only sure way is to convert the character to outlines, the flip. Another way would be to use the unicode RightToLeft marker in conjunction with a paragraph composer that supports bidirectional text (see Right-to-left mark - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

‌Hmmm ... the RTL marker is to indicate the following characters are to be ordered from right to left, but the characters themself will not get flipped!

Off-hand idea: if you need to do this with entire words, you could still use the RTL marker in combination with a font in which the characters are physically flipped, ƨiʜƚ ɘʞil
