l'application n'as pas réussi à démarrer correctement (0xc0000142). Cliquer sur ok pour fermer l'app

Bonjour!

Sous windows 10 au lancement de indesign 2025 j'ai le message d'erreur suivant : l'application n'as pas réussi à démarrer correctement (0xc0000142). Cliquer sur ok pour fermer l'application.

 

J'ai essayé de réparer d'éventuelle erreur fichier, j'ai aussi tout désinstallé et tout réinstaller en suppriment les anciennes versions ainsi que les préférences, mais rien n'y fait ! 

 

Avez-vous une idée du problème ?

 

Sachant que sous la version 2024, cela fonctionne parfaitement

j'ai aussi tout désinstallé et tout réinstaller en suppriment les anciennes versions ainsi que les préférences,

De quelle manière as-tu supprimé les préférences ? Si l'application ne démarre pas, voici la méthode : Il faut relancer l'application tout en appuyant simultanément sur Maj, Ctrl, Alt jusqu'à l'apparition du message demandant confirmation.

Au moment de la suppression il me demande si je veux supprimer les préférence ou les conservers!

Mai rien y fais, le problème persiste, malheurresuement.

Merci pour votre retour mais rien y fais, même en fesant un nettoyage et en réinstallent, impossible de lancer l'application!

Right, sorry, then I think the only solution for you would be to go back to the previous version of InDesign - to minor 20.0, if you've updated it recently to 20.1 - or do major downgrade to 19.5.1 - you should rather skip 19.5.2

Thanks for trying the troubleshooting steps so far and sharing the details! Could you test the issue in Safe Mode to check if any third-party software might be interfering? Ref: Start your PC in Safe Mode.

Also, try creating a new admin user account and check if InDesign behaves the same way there. This will help us determine if the issue is tied to your current user profile. Ref: Manage User Accounts in Windows.

If none of these work, I see you’ve already tried the CC Cleaner Tool as Robert suggested, but I’d like to confirm if you followed the steps in the article and received the command prompt for removing InDesign? Ref:Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to solve installation problems

Toutes mes excuse pour mon retour tardif, je suis débordé !

 

J'ai donc fait toutes les démarches que vous m'avez indiquées, le mode sans échec, nouvel utilisateur et a nouveau le nettoyage, le problème persiste ! 

 

Ce qui devient problématique, c'est que je travaille sur des fichiers produits avec la version de 2025 depuis mon autre bureau et là quand je veux les ouvrir et bien y dois convertir à l'ancienne version, c'est vraiment problématique et une perte de temps considérable !

Thanks so much for sticking with all the troubleshooting steps and sharing your updates.

At this point, could you please check if the latest Visual C++ Redistributables are installed on your system? InDesign 2025 depends on these, and if they’re missing or corrupted, it could lead to the 0xc0000142 error you’re seeing. You can grab both the x64 and x86 versions from Microsoft’s official site here: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn

It would also help to run a quick system file check to see if any critical Windows files are damaged. Just open Command Prompt as an administrator and run this command:
sfc /scannow
Once that's done, follow it with this command to repair the Windows image:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Also, when you try launching InDesign and the error appears, could you open Event Viewer and check for any related logs? Go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application and see if there are any error messages tied to InDesign. That might give us a clearer idea of what's going wrong.

Just to double-check, could you also confirm the exact version of InDesign 2025 you're using? Is it the latest 20.3.1 release or another version?

J'ai bien suivi toute vos indication, jew me suis occupé du Visual C++ et récupérer les versions x64 et x86 sur le site officiel de Microsoft que j'ai installé, puis procédé a une vérification du système qu'il ma dis qu'il ne trouvais rien d'anormal!

Pare contre voici le rapport au lancement de indesign.journal.jpgJe serai absent ces prochain jour, mais surveillerai vos réponse des mon retour
