Hi Michal,

unfortunately no.
Just all objects on the active spread.

What would you like to do with the selection if you would be able to do that?

Regards,
Uwe

Hi Uwe,

All depends on what we mean by "selection"!

I'd like to apply Shadow for one layer in whole document ( x pages).

Hi Michal,

InDesign is not PhotoShop where you can apply layer effects.

In InDesign that is done per object on the page.

If you want to apply an effect like Drop Shadow to all items in a layer in one go you can do this only by scripting.

And it will not be automatically. If you move or add an item to said layer it will not get a drop shadow automatically.

Regards,
Uwe

How about using Object Styles? You could us a combination of Layers and Object Styles. Of course, the layers portion would only be for organization.
