InDesign's system font is not available. In this case:

Try to restart.
If this does not help, uninstall InDesign and InCopy and install both again.

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled indesign twice. problem is not solved yet. I have 2 users on the mac. if I log in to the first user there, indesign has no problems and if I log in to 2 users, the problem remains. Where can I remove settings?

Log in the user 2 session and try to reset preferences: launch InDesign while holding down the Shift, Ctrl, Alt and Cmd keys until you see a warning message asking for confirmation.
