Hello everyone,
I'm wondering if there is a limit to the number of scans allowed for QR codes that are created in InDesign? I know many QR code generator services charge for scans over a certain amount. I've got a client that wants the ability to have their code scanned at least 1,000 times. Any help, verification, or clarity that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

As far as I am aware, InDesign does not redirect such hyperlinks. The URL that gets read is exactly the one that you enter. No other website intervenes, no counters are updated, no monies need exchanging. Unless you do so in your hyperlink, of course.
Also, I really really hope I did not give Adobe an idea here.

No, I use the codes all the times with my students and I am sure they have been used over 1,000 times. Your client shouldn't have any issues.
