Lines appearing around boxes when exported to PDF

When i export my document to PDF, interactive or print, it shows thin black/grey lines around some of my images. It appears to be the end of the image within the frame, as it disappears when i shuffle these out.

They don't print, and are not visible at all Zoom levels, but i want to add the doc up digitally so need them to be gone.

Does anyone know how to fix this or what this is?

Do your image frames have a background colour applied? e.g. if your graph example was designed with a white bacground (as opped to have no background), but you placed it into a frame that has a colour (black or otherwise) it can "peek" around the edges at certain views.

No, the image is white and there was no fill, although i did try changing this to white which made no difference.

I also tried changing the box outline to white rather than none, again this didn't work.

I apologise that my images are poor - it is a client document so i am reluctant to post the entire chart.

That image is way too small to see anything.

Hi - is this better?

As they only appear at certain zoom levels, i have to cut it from a small sample.

What PDF settings are you using? Try PDF/X-4 and see if the problem goes away.

Sounds like stitching from some kind of transparency flattening but you've provided no screenshot or files for us to look at so I suggest you do that now.
