I need to link pricing in a excel spreadsheet to an order form created in InDesgn, so that when the spreadsheet is updated the InDesign file will automatically update. This is a paid job.

There are ways to do this. But they may require plugin or script as @Eugene Tyson says there needs to be more information to guide you to the next step.

I did this using Data Merge Merge data to create form letters, envelopes, or mailing labels in Adobe InDesign

More advanced option allows you to involve XML Import XML in InDesign (adobe.com)

As others have mentionned some advanced plugins can help too, but often at a cost.

these guys at www.indesignscripting.com will develop an InDesign extension for your special case. I had them make a plugin for me, that updates prices in a 500 page catalogue with about 30.000 prices in about 10 minutes. Great work!
