I have a table on one page which needs to flow to a further 20 pages.  How to I link the tables?  Also how do I link pages?

Since the table is within a text frame, just thread the frame (not the table) onto the next page and beyond. Use the same technique as you would thread a regular text frame to a new page. See https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/threading-text.html

One other task for multi-page tables: make sure your column header row(s) are defined and set to repeat on each page. See https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/creating-tables.html#add_table_headers_and_footers

Create the first table on the first page and fill it with your content. Then, just as with a regular text box, you will see a small square "button" on the edge of that first table box near the bottom righhand corner. Click on that button and your cursor will now show a text block. Place that where you want to the second table to be placed and click there. Voila....your overflowing table contents now flows into that second box.  Continue adding table boxes as needed onto following pages.
