Hello, just looking to see if this is possible?

We'd love to be able to send out excel tamplates to customers to fill in the data for their products (just text)

and then link those to the product templates in InDesign.

Open to any other suggestions of echieving this sort of semi-automation as it's a real time killer!!

Thanks

For more advanced options, you may want to look at a third-party plugin such as Em Software InData, Teacup Software DataLinker, and 65bit EasyCatalog (Lite or reg).
