Macbook won't see my indesign files nor exported pdf's anymore

Hi, since yesterday my (new) Indesign documents and (new) exported pdf's aren't in my document folder while when I try to open the document folder with Indesign it show the documents in light grey. 

If someone could help me that would be great! Need to hand in some projects really soon! 🙂

You do not Open PDF's in InDesign, you can only Place them (like images). You can only Open InDesign .indd files.

 

Je hebt Open gekozen en niet Plaatsen. InDesign kan een PDF alleen plaatsen, als een afbeelding. InDesign is géén PDF-editor. Open gebruik je alleen voor InDesign .indd documenten

And... this is not new, it has been that way for many years...

As you can see here, the folder of macbook documents doesn't show the pdf that is visible in the same folder when I open Indesign -> open

@Frans v.d. Geest you are right, but it seems to me that the OP question was to understand why the Finder did not SHOW the files (either PDFs and indd files). Of course, this is not an InDesign issue, but that's strange indeed.
