macOS top bar missing in InDesign

Only happening with InDesign, the top bar in macOS is missing meaning I can't move, minimise or fullscreen InDesign.

I've checked other Adobe apps and they're all fine, just happening with InDesign.

A restart hasn't solved the issue.

PC Info:

MacBook Pro 16" M2 Pro 2023

Ventura 13.5

InDesign version 18.5

Unfortunately it didn't work. The InDesign top bar is still missing when I launch it.

I've also tried reinstalling but it didn't help the issue.

When InDesign begins to behave erratically, consider rebuilding your cache and preferences. Doing so will solve most of these issues, and the link below explains both the keyboard technique (which works most of the time) as well as the more thorough approach to deleting (or renaming) your cache and preferences, which tends to resolve the more stubborn issues not rectified by the keyboard approach.

InDesign 18.5 just arrived this week as a new update.

The suggestion from @Barb Binder is a good one: Restoring preferences and caches is often necessary after you've applied a new update.

Unfortunately I'm still having this issue after resetting preferences and renaming both those files.

Goto Window menu and check the Application Frame option, hopefully this will resolve your issue

Unfortunately not 😞

I'm now not sure if this is a macOS or InDesign issue, but I'm starting to think the former, as I believe the top bar just keeps getting hidden after the computer has been asleep.
