Manually adding to an already created data merge

Hello! I have created a school directory through the data merge process - each entry is in its own text box with a line between each entry. It looks great. BUT.... I have just been advised there are 18 families that need to be added. I would like to manually add them into the document as that seems like the best and hopefully quickest option (there is an 'issue' in our data base so I am hesitant to 'start a new merge'). How can I insert a text box to the current directory list of text boxes where the space would be 'opened' into the correct area and all following entries would 'move down' . Is there a way to move all the entries (which are in individual text boxes) that follow so there is room for the new entry? Thank you.

Can you show us a screenshot?

Preferably not in preview mode - so with all the edges of the objects visible.

Each entry is its own text box, there are over 300 entries in total. Hope this helps. I appreciate your help!

Might be easiest to link the frames, then enter the new data where it goes in the chain, and finally flow the overset text into new frames on new pages as required.
