Hi,

Just curious why the top bar is shown on non existing page, while this is separately created for both master pages ?

Your screen shot for the master pages shows a layer named right page top bar which is turned off, is it also turned off on the page 290 screen shot? If the right page top bar on the master page overlaps the left master page (or if it spans both pages), it will be applied to the right page (page 291), even if there is no page.

If this book is going to be printed, you will want to add bleed.

Thanks for your answer.

Maybe I was not precise. The shot no1 shows the problem, while the 2nd indicates that there is no overlaping -

I have switched off  the left top bar to indicate that neither the left top bar nor the right top bar overlaps both pages.
