Master Pages Not Visible in Pages Panel

New Here ,
May 31, 2017 May 31, 2017

I've opened an older InDesign document in InDesign CC 2017. There's a footer on every page that I assume was created via a master page, but I can't find any master pages in the pages panel. They are not there at all. All pages show that Master A has been applied, but I can't access Master A or any master pages. See image below. (I'm working on an iMac running OSX 10.11.5.) How do I get to the master pages? Also, I can create a new master page, but can't navigate to it.

Hi,

What happens when you drag the below highlighted bar downwards?

Hower the cursor over that line and when it changes, drag it to the bottom

You could try the following...

  1. Try the suggestion above outlined by @amaarora
  2. Menu > Window > Workspace > Reset [YOUR WORKSPACE NAME]
  3. Reset the InDesign Preferences.
