Is it possible to creatie a system in my indesign doc's for the following;

I have about 60 different books documents. Some textboxes are the same. Think about marketing text.

Sometimes i have tot change this marketing text. But now i have to do this 60 time's for the same text.

Is it not possible to do this in only one document and that it automatically wil appear in the other documents?

Hope you can help me.

For the pages that need to stay the same across documents, you can place the InDesign pages directly into the other InDesign documents. They will function like a graphic, and can be automatically updated when the documents are opened.

I've tried it.

I've created 2 docs. A master and a slave.

From the master I placed a text page in the slave.

Then made a change in the master.

Then looked at the slave.

Nothing changes in the slave

What do not I do well?

Hope you can help me.

Hi,

You should use the place and link feature and then update links like you do normally whenever the text changes Use linked content features in InDesign
