Mesclar colunas de uma tabela

Olá! 

Estou tentando mesclar duas linhas de uma coluna de uma tabela, mas quando as seleciono, a opção de mesclar células fica inabilitada. A opção só aparece quando seleciono uma linha. Alguém saberia me dizer como posso mesclar duas linhas de uma coluna?

Thanks for the screenshot.

My guess is that you have selected a whole column that consists of one header row cell plus one body row cell. A table with one header row and one body row only. And you cannot merge the two cells unless you convert the first row to a body row.

Are you selecting using the Text tool? Both cells should be highlighted.

A little confusing, maybe the translation, because you can't actually select a line (stroke) in a table.

    Hi Diane,

    I'm quiet sure that with "line" a table row is meant.

     

    to our OP defaultwo0pjd4fvyt4 :

    Do you want one single cell where now are two table rows with several cells in each row are selected?

    Could you provide a screenshot with the table where frame edges are showing and also hidden characters?

      Exactly, I meant a row. I want to turn the two selected cells into one.
