missing arabic and hebrew feature in indesign

Hi, 

Please, can anyone help me ? I can not find following in InDesign 2024 on Mac to work with arabic:

1.character direction - left to right

2.per image below

3.Under preferences > type - there is no option shown for Show East Asian Options / Show Indic Options.

or is there a feature how to switch created EN/Latin paragraph style into arabic > right to left direction ?
