I have InDesign cc 2017 but I can't seem to find the folio builder in there? I have already downloaded the DPS app but still wasn't able to find the folio panel.

Have a look at InDesign‘s Publish Online - it’s easy to produce interactive publication with it, it comes free with InDesign and the publications can be read on almost any device. The disadvantage is you can’t monetise such publications.

Alternately in5 would do what you want but you have to pay extra, and you need to learn how to use it.

Digital Magazines, Mobile Apps, Web Banner, Microsites, & more from InDesign with in5 - Home

There are also a number of third part applications, such as Twixl, Mag+Best Publishing Software – Solution & Subscriptions, Automated Digital Publishing Software | mag+  and  Issu Digital Publishing Platform for Magazines, Catalogs, and more - Issuu

DPS is dead. The folio builder was dropped after CC2014 and the entire service will cease to exist very shortly.

Bob,

I have created multiple epubs for work, and wanted to export them as apps that we could push through our MDM to our company ipads.  Are you saying this feature is gone or will be soon?  I really wanted to use this for our company.  I do not want to program, j ust use what I have already made.  This was the reason that I went with Indesign in the beginning.  I am just getting to the app portion, and I hope that it is not gone.  Can you help.  I am a little lost on how ot get this done with anything newer than 2014 Indesign.  I seem to have hit a wall in my research on how to do this.

Thank you for your reply. What is the best way to export an interactive magazine / ebooks other than the ePub?
