Situation: I and my coworker both have the same Adobe software. We both enabled a font via Adobe fonts, but for him, it's showing the message: missing fonts. For him, it's showing the font name with (OTF) behind it in the missing fonts pop-up. But I don't understand that if we both enable a font in the same way, it doesn't work.
We are both working on a Windows laptop. How is this possible, and more importantly: how can we fix this? It's not the first time I experience this kind of font problems.
I actually installed Poppins locally as well for other software than Adobe, but even when he downloads this font from Google (same place where I downloaded it), it's not working.
Maybe I was not clear, what you describe is exactly what you must not do: either you use both the Adobe version and uninstall the Google version or you both use the Google version and deactivate the Adobe version.

Can you confirm your coworker is logged into the application with the same ID they used to activate the font? Also is there pending Creative Cloud desktop app updates? If so, run them- it could be causing a sync issue.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's the same ID. And he installed all apps Yesterday, I don't have any updates pending so this should be fine.

Hi @Aniek5E8E ,
We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. In addition to the suggestions shared by @Kevin Stohlmeyer you can also share this article with your colleague to troubleshoot the font activation issue.
Regards
Rishabh

So, it could be that the same font, but in TT format, is locally installed on his computer. What font is it?

Good thinking, I had the same thoughts. I actually installed Poppins locally as well for other software than Adobe, but even when he downloads this font from Google (same place where I downloaded it), it's not working.
