Hi, I've just used the paragraph panel to try to activate hyphens ia a paragraph of text and it's gone. So have all my paragraph styles. I have my own workspace set up, and have tried switching this on an off but the re in no difference. I have used Time machine to install an earlier version, but that hasn't helped either. I have restarted the software and the Mac, no joy. This is all I see in the panel. Does anybody know where everything has gone? Thanks in advance

To get the option for hyphenation to show in your Paragraph Panel click on the pull-down menu at the top right of the panel and choose "Show Options" see screen shot:

Your Paragraph Styles are in the Paragraph Styles panel—visible to the right under Paragraph and you can also see the first five letters in the left half of your screen shot.
When you double-click a panel name, it switches to the next size, which is how you most likely collapsed it accidentally. Bill gave you one correct way to expand it again.
You could also reset your workspace from the Window menu are Workspace Switcher since you said you set it up (and hopefully saved it.)
Restarting the software and the computer does not change the panel configuration. Resetting the panels does. If you didn't save your workspace, start with the Advanced Workspace, then Reset it. Then customize it. Then save it. Now you can reset to your custom workspace.
