Missing Layout Panel in InDesign

Hello,

I'm missing the Layout panel in InDesign, and I have no idea how to resolve it. I've reset multiple workspaces, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the Layout panel is completely gone with no way to access it or its settings. Additionally, my W key is now set to blend mode instead of toggling preview mode, which is strange since I haven’t modified any keybinds and I have no idea how to correct that either.

Never mind. You posted to the Photoshop forum and asked a question about InDesign while your screenshot is from Illustrator.

Launch InDesign and you should see the Layout menu (not panel).

The "W" key will toggle Preview mode once you are in InDesign. In Illustrator it is a shortcut for the Blend mode, as you just saw.

I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the InDesign forum.

I can't think of a panel called "Layout", but you can show panels by checking them in the Window menu.

You can also reset your current Workspace in Window menu > Workspace > Reset [name of workspace].

Do you mean the Layout menu instead of the Layout panel? If so, see this help file :

This could go down as the all time classic Adobe forum answer. 🙂

Doesn't look like InDesign's window?

I mean - not enough Menu entries?
