More footntes on one line

I have a lot of very short footnotes in a text (usually consisting of just one word). I think it would look better if I could summarise these footnotes so that there are several on one line. Can this be realised with InDesign? (It is possible with Affiniti Publisher, but...)

Oh, that looks good. I won't get round to trying it out until the end of the week, but I think that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Thank you very much for the tip.

(I had already been looking for such a script, but as I don't know how to describe my goal in English, I couldn't find anything).

@wernerhintze

Those are called "run-in" Footnotes and can be achieved only by using 3rd party tools.

Many thanks to everyone who has replied, even if the answer is a little disappointing. I thought it should be possible with a professional tool. Well, yes. So I'll have to put up with the inconvenience of Affinity Publisher for this project...

Footnotes are generated and separated by a hard return. So, without conversion and manual intervention, the technical answer is no.

Convert footnotes to endnotes. Those you can put everywhere that they look like footnotes. But they have their own frame you are able to design them individually.
