I have reset InDesign CC 2020 (v15.0) preferences three times this afternoon. Each time the program has lost Undo and Save functions after a period of usage (they are grayed out). It is very hard to pin down, but the problem appears to be triggered by moving or resizing an object with a pointer or in the Control panel. Those functions work for awhile, then fail. I learned to frequently save my work, and when the functions failed would use Save As, though that would sometimes be grayed out, too. Each time that Undo and Save failed, whether Save As was available or not, I needed to quit and restart InDesign. (I gave up on resetting preferences.) I'm not seeing other posts about this, so perhaps it is just me. I'm on a fully upgraded 2010 Mac Pro (5,1) running the latest update of Mojave. I guess I'll try reinstalling InDesign, but that sort of thing is ususally a can of worms in itself, so I will procrastinate until tomorrow if no one else can shed light on the problem.

When you uninstall InDesign use the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app. If that doesn't resolve the issue consider uninstalling again and running Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling InDesign.

OK, I have not reinstalled yet. The problem is partially (possibly fully) resolved. The update to 15.0.1 may have addressed the missing Save function. Also, under Preferences > Interface, setting Live Screen Drawing to Immediate solved part of the "misbehavior" I was experiencing with trying to correct overset text (which I was relating to control panel and pointer move functions). I will post again if problems resurface (at which point I will try reinstalling).
