Moving pages from one Indesign document to another using CC 2017

I have in the past moved pages from one Indesign document to another using the thumb nails. In CC 2107 it creates an alternative layout. Is there a way I can move the pages and keep them under the one layout?

Did you try using the move page option?

The alternative layout shows because you have tick to view as a alternate layout, try to uncheck it.
