Hi
I am currently working on a book which has multiple layouts.
The book starts with a heading and then a two column layout (attached pic p01.png)
Then page number 2 (attached p02.png) runs on 2 columns for couple of pages.
Then all of a sudden there is single column layout with two columns in between (attached p03.png)
and then that chapter ends with two columns on top and single column at the end (attached p04.png)
So this is the approximate layout of all the chapters. Each chapter has approx 100 pages and there are approx 30-40 chapters. Meaning that is a lot of work to do if I do it manually.
What would be an easy solution to this? I dont want to use table.
My document is set to Facing Pages ON.
Currently I have only one master in place with 2 text frames threaded separately. (Thread01.png and Thread02.png)
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Why not make a Parent page for each of those design variations? When needed, drag the Parent page onto the actual page that needs that layout.
