My indesign file craches everytime i try to open

I have been working on this menu design and dont have any backup files. My app crashed suddenly and since then i am unable to access the file. Every time i try to open this file the app crashes. Have tried to clear the recovery folder as well, still facing the same issue.

All I know at this point is that it crashed my InDesign, too.

If you're on Windows, then you may still have a backup via the Previous Versions system (look it up as I'm on Mac).

That doesnt works. I have even tried to do file recovery. But still no success.  

This is what exactly happened. I finished working on the menu. And saved the file. Once the file was saved i exported the file as a print pdf. But then i relaised there was some aligned ment issue. So i made the changes and when i was saving my indesign file i went to my folder and deleted the pdf file , as it had somw alignedment issue. And suddenly the indesign software crashed as soon as i deleted the pdf file. I dont think there was any relation of the pdf file with the indesign file. But since then i a. Unable to open the file. I even tried to open the file on a mac but that also result into a software crash. Help me if theres any workaround for this issue. Or if i can revert the indesign file to a previously saved version. If you work in a OneDrive or Dropbox folder you can easily revert to an earlier version. Otherwise, your file appears to be unrecoverable.
