Hi, I am working on a 230 page book and need to edit one of my parents (master) pages. But it is locked and I am not able to edit any of the elements on the parents page. Ctrl shift does not work - please help!

Hi @Delightful_Gazelle16B8:

Did you try navigating to the parent pages and then selecting Object > Unlock all on Spread? If the parent page items are locked as you said, this will unlock them.

If it doesn't change anything, stay on the parent pages and open up the Layers panel. See if all of the parent page elements are on a locked layer. Click the padlock icon in front of the layer name to unlock it.

As a heads up, control shift click does not unlock parent page elements, it overrides them, and allows you to change them on the body pages.
