I have seen in forums how to export via script the same flyer with mulitple logos into individual indesign files but I would need it to export into individual pdfs. The same flyer is customized with a customer's logo - everything remains the same just the logo is switched out in the indesign file and exported as a pdf. We have about 70 customers we do this flyer for - just wondering if there is a way to automate this process.
thanks in advance!!! !

Just riffing:
Create separate layers for each logo. If you're using layers for another purpose, use a naming scheme so that the logo layers can be easily identified: Logo_customer 1, Logo_customer 2, etc.
Then use a script that loops through all the logo layers: make one visible, hide all the others, export PDF. Might be good idea to add a choose-from-list interface so that your designer could send just one version, all versions or a partial list.
I've scripted a similar workflow for a newspaper where we wanted the same page with two different folios. No reason I can think of that it wouldn't work for multiple multiples.
You probably could accomplish the same thing by using a script to re-link the same picture box to different image files. But if it were me, I'd want to have a more permanent record of what the piece looks like for Customer 1.

I would do it positioning all the layout in the master page and separate
pages with each logo. And then, export each page as a separate PDF file.

If you can wait, I'll try to help you making a script to export each page
as a separate PDF file. Ok?

Or, better than that: I found a script I have here, from Scott Zanelli (
www.lonelytreesw.com) that make this job!
Take a look at:

You can download it in the link above.
Absolutely awesome!

Never too late about a very clever script written by Scott Zanelli 10 years ago!
